June 6, 2010 marked the seventh anniversary of Rev. Joy Walker's arrival at Unity Church of Shreveport. The congregation holds a special service each year to mark the occassion. This year it was a family affair - vocalist Claudia Walker sang twice while sister Sharron Jarmon spoke of "A Woman's Perogative" - a reference to the many choices in life made by their mother - Rev. Joy Walker.
